County of Lambton Launches Building Permitting in 11 Municipalities

Ontario’s Lambton County has chosen Cloudpermit for its building permitting needs. Its 11 municipalities (Brooke-Alvinston, Dawn-Euphemia, Enniskillen, Lambton Shores, Oil Springs, Petrolia, Plympton-Wyoming, Point Edward, Sarnia, St. Clair, and Warwick) make up a population of more than 123,000 residents. Now, local government staff can benefit from online building permits for improved efficiency.

Cloudpermit makes it simple to communicate with multiple residents and stakeholders at once. All information is kept in the same place and so are all conversations. Staff and users can access messages within the software so lost messages in phone calls, emails, and at the front counter are eliminated.

This also means that if a staff member goes on vacation, their conversations no longer go on vacation with them. Other staff members can access their conversations within the software to pick up where they left off and ensure applications continue to go smoothly.
