The Township of Lake of Bays in Muskoka Chooses Cloudpermit

The Township of Lake of Bays, Ontario, chose Cloudpermit as its building permitting and planning software. In November of this year, there will be a soft launch for building permitting, followed by an official building permitting launch in 2023. In the new year, planning applications will move online as well.

Cloudpermit allows homeowners to apply for building permits online without needing to visit the government office. Staff and community members benefit from 24/7 access to their information.

This northeastern Muskoka community is made up of 3,167 permanent residents and 11,720 seasonal residents. Soon, those who do not live in the beautiful Lake of Bays year-round can get their projects done from their permanent homes on a phone, laptop, or tablet (without needing to make a special trip to the area).
