Thank You for a Wonderful 2024 — Here’s to an Even Better 2025!

It’s hard to believe that the year is almost over, and what a year it was for the Cloudpermit team. We worked hard throughout 2024 to make our community development platform even bigger and better, and we’re excited to do great things in the New Year for the local governments we serve.

Before we say goodbye to 2024 and kick off 2025, let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the big things we did this year and how they set the stage for our ambitious plans for next year.

Debuting New Features

This year saw the launch of our mobile inspections app, Cloudpermit Inspections, which helps officials conduct inspections anywhere. This new part of our online inspection software simplifies every part of the process, making it possible to:

• Schedule and perform complete inspections in the field.
• Add photos and notes right on the spot — no need to go back to the office.
• Access real-time data right at the site.
• Create cases or ad hoc inspections in the field.
• Work in the app whether or not you have an internet connection.

We also debuted our new Public Search Map feature, making it easier for citizens to search for development-related activity in their community. This feature can cut down on the need to respond to manual requests for information while still increasing transparency to the public.

Rolling out Regular Updates

One of the major differences at Cloudpermit is that we need to keep improving and expanding how our community development platform works, and that’s why we prioritize ongoing, regular updates.

Part of that effort is hosting training workshops for our clients and public webinars to showcase what our software can do. In February, our team was joined by a representative from Avolve Software to discuss how their product can be integrated with our platform to enhance local governments’ efficiency, collaboration, and access to real-time data.

Look for more exciting webinars and training seminars to continue in 2025 as we keep working to roll out even more features and possibilities with our platform.

Getting Together for Fun

The Cloudpermit team gathered this summer in Tennessee for our annual kickoff event at an iconic destination: The one and only Dollywood Resort in Pigeon Forge.

While we did take time to reconnect and set our vision for the coming year, we also had plenty of chances for fun, whether it was riding rollercoasters, eating delicious barbecue, or having a blast together. The time flew by quickly, but the memories and team-building opportunities of our kickoff remain all these months later.

Meeting Government Officials and Partners

One of the highlights of our yearly schedule is traveling to exciting conferences across America and Canada to meet local government officials and partners, and spread the word about our community development platform.

Some of the standout fall 2024 events we attended included the ICMA Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the OBOA Annual Meeting & Training Sessions in London, Ontario, both in September. The following month, we were honored to be a part of the ICC Annual Conference in Long Beach, California.

We’re excited to continue the busy travel schedule in the New Year and look forward to seeing you all at 2025 conferences!
