Product Marketing Manager
Cloudpermit is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who serves as the bridge among product, marketing, sales, and customer success. Cloudpermit’s value is clearly and consistently communicated to the market. This role turns technical product features into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives that drive demand, product adoption, and customer engagement.
You will be the internal expert on the needs and challenges of government customers, helping shape strategic product positioning and go-to-market plans that resonate with Cloudpermit’s target audience. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong communication and presentation skills, hands-on tactical execution, and excellent cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Product positioning and messaging for our ICP. Value-focused content across all marketing channels that supports the entire buyer journey.
- GTM strategies for new product launches, features, etc., managing marketing, sales, product, and customer success.
- Manage all competitive analysis and market research. Conduct deep market research and competitive intelligence to understand industry trends, customer pain points, and the competitive landscape, using these insights to inform product roadmaps and marketing strategies, including all battlecards, case studies, and product videos.
- KPIs into GTM effectiveness and win/loss rates to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional collaboration to align product management, sales, CS, and marketing to ensure consistent messaging and successful execution.
- Occasional travel to share information about Cloudpermit’s software products with public sector contacts.
Qualifications, Skills, & Past Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or related roles (preferably in SaaS or GovTech).
- Strong understanding of B2G buyer journeys and selling to the public sector.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation, and writing skills.
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into simple, compelling messages.
- Experience collaborating across product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with permitting, licensing, public works, land management, or public sector software is a plus.
