We’re looking for an Events Coordinator to promote Cloudpermit awareness by managing all aspects of our presence at national conferences and regional events.

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with marketing leadership to maintain the company’s overall marketing events calendar (up to 40-50 events per year).

Coordinate all aspects of the company’s presence at events, in collaboration with marketing and sales peers as well as third parties, including but not limited to:

  • Registration
  • Sponsorships
  • Staffing
  • Travel and rooming
  • Booth presence, including design, set-up, tear-down
  • Meeting spaces
  • Catering
  • Keynotes and speaking slots
  • Partnerships
  • Publicity
  • Contact tracking
  • Negotiate third-party contracts for event services
  • Track expenses and invoices, managing to events budget
  • Submit speaking proposals for events
  • Evaluate the success of events and opportunities for improvement for future events

Requirements and Skills:

  • Ability to represent our company with a positive attitude to event hosts, partners, and customers
  • Proven experience with a track record of organizing successful events
  • Excellent vendor management skills
  • Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task while still paying attention to detail
  • Able to handle stress and solve problems
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing and/or event planning
  • Strong Office suite skills
  • Experience using Asana,, or other project management tools
