Implementation Specialist

Job Description
At Cloudpermit, Implementation Specialists are responsible for implementing Cloudpermit solutions within municipalities throughout North America. They also are responsible for delivering digital products and services in a professional manner.
This role balances key disciplines within our delivery model, such as core product deliverables, managing customer expectations, and training municipal staff. The Implementation Specialist can expect to be assigned 20+ implementation projects per year. The Implementation Specialist reports to the Head of Professional Services.
Implementation Specialists at Cloudpermit are an integral part of the team. Working alongside their Sales Team, and the Vice President of North America, Implementation Specialists need to be comfortable in a client-facing role and also be detail-oriented.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Implementing Cloudpermit’s digital products for municipal government departments
- Assisting in Change Management within the municipality through implementation-specific training, knowledge base, and post-Go-Live support
- Assist sales team with demonstrations
- Advising the product development team to ensure decisions are made in the best interest of clients and users
- Lead client adoption through high-level technical support and guidance
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the implementation life cycle
- Triage customer questions, issue resolution, and requests for enhancement
- Support other departments to ensure we stay on the pulse of our customer’s needs
Qualifications, Skills, and Past Experience:
The Implementation Specialist needs to have various hard and soft skills to succeed in the role. Some of these include (not limited to):
- 3-5 years experience in software (SaaS) implementation, or as a technical or business analyst (Experience with GovTech, community development, and/or construction management software is highly preferred, but not required)
- Ability to manage multiple project timelines to ensure tasks are completed on time throughout the implementation lifecycle (Project Management experience preferred)
- Highly analytical mindset, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
- Exceptional listening skills
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Effective time management and organization
- Passion for digital products and services
- Computer and technology savviness
