Government staff can configure which other governments they want to share information and applications with for two-tier processing and approvals. For example, Cloudpermit clients can enable subdivision applications to be processed at the lower municipal level but subsequently approved at the upper county level.
Cloudpermit removes the need to have physical drawings or documents for applications submitted to planning departments. So, planning departments in a lower tier can easily, and in a cost-effective way, share applications with upper-tier governments online instead.
Lower and upper-tier governments can collaborate and share resources online, and control visibility to applications.
