The Town of Aberdeen in Moore County has launched Cloudpermit’s online building permitting solution. The 9K residents that live in this historical small town will benefit from online building permits.
Cloudpermit allows local governments to accept, review, and issue building permits. The online community development software forces applicants to fill in all mandatory fields. So, building departments always receive complete building permit applications. This helps solve a major pain point many building departments have since staff no longer need to track down applicants for missing information.
By working online, it is also easier for applicants to fill out applications. They can save information in real-time and remotely work on their applications whenever it suits them best. This means that there are no longer time or travel restrictions for applicants since they can apply outside of typical office hours and can do so outside of the government office.
The Town of Aberdeen is the first local government in the beautiful state of North Carolina to go live with Cloudpermit’s building permitting solution. We look forward to partnering with more local governments across the state for simplified and efficient online building permitting.
