BIM (Building Information Modeling) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) continue to take the world by storm. As governments continue to look for modern approaches to community development, more departments are adopting BIM and AI.

Some areas in the U.S. and Canada have already adopted BIM, and countless organizations are exploring how AI can help make their jobs easier.

Cloudpermit, a top online community development software, is positioning itself for upcoming advancements with BIM and AI permitting. Cloudpermit’s team is working with European companies to advance future technologies, explore BIM, and implement AI into efficient workflows.

Steering Cloudpermit into the next generation of permitting is a point of pride for me,” said Jan Pawli, Cloudpermit’s CEO. “The momentum behind governments embracing BIM and AI on a global scale is inspiring. Cloudpermit is already using BIM and AI in Europe, and our team is very excited to bring this modernization to North America next year.”

As a testament to the company’s commitment to influencing the changing digital landscape, Cloudpermit participated as an exhibitor at the recent Bim World Conference. The company was well-represented by its CEO, Jan Pawli, and Director of Product Management, Ilkka Mattila.

Ilkka Mattila, Cloudpermit’s Director of Product Management, shared his expertise with attendees of the BIM World Conference.

BIM World took center stage in Munich, Germany, from November 26-27, 2023. It attracted a mix of industry leaders, experts, and enthusiasts. The conference hosted over 8,000 visitors, 250 exhibitors, and featured insights from 250 speakers.

Cloudpermit’s team found excellent value in being an exhibitor. Pawli and Mattila engaged with various agencies and took part in diverse sessions and networking opportunities.

They learned that governments, architects, and designers across Europe and North America are starting to use BIM and AI technologies. This signals a growing interest in modernization.

The global embrace of Building Information Modeling (BIM) was palpable, with Germany standing out as one of its main leaders, as 70% of its construction companies have integrated BIM at some level.

In North America, a series of initiatives are underway to encourage wider BIM adoption, and Cloudpermit eagerly positions itself as a key player in the future of BIM.

As a SaaS (software-as-a-service) company, Cloudpermit looks forward to the next phase of community development and aims to play a key role in shaping that future with BIM and AI.
